I've been watching episodes of TOS on MeTV lately. It is a bit disappointing that they're using the recently remastered versions of the show with the CGI scenes. I know it looks better than the original effects, but... it's just not the same, you know? It doesn't fit in with a show from the 1960s. It seems artificial.

Sometimes I don't mind the remastered effects, but for the most part, they should have left it alone. As Alex said, for the most part it just doesn't fit.

I know what you mean, I have those on DVD. They should've left them alone.
