Fingers crossed. Erica had a decent amount of on the job screen time, but not much on a personal level.

Me too, but overall they did a good job introducing and giving screen time to all of the characters on the bridge.

Hemmer. He was one of my favourites too. He'll definitely be missed. My understanding is that the character was only supposed to be there for the first season. Not sure why that decision was made.

The crewmembers I care about are Mbenga, Chapel, La'an, Pike and Peck-Spock. Hemmer was good, but I knew he wasn't going to last.

I can't stand the Gorn-hatch-spores-inside you thing. They didn't have to go there. This isn't Aliens. I mostly hate the Aliens franchise, so I don't like seeing Star Trek imitate it. I'm betting there will be a lot more Gorn in season 2. Not looking forward to that.

Agree with you there. Star Trek has generally been pretty good to imply anything too gross or violent. I don't need to see that stuff on screen.
