I don't think spock needs a first name all of a sudden, vulcans never had more than one name tbh. Also pretending spock is his last name is weird, bc spock is his first name. If spock was his last name his father sarek would also be called spock.
Vulcans are not humans, them having just one name was a nice differentiation. __________________

That's weird wanting to give a full name to Spock cause like has been mentioned Vulcan's are not human but again Spock half-Vulcan
 So maybe that's enough to give them a pass Remind me again when this starts?  I understand am safe not having seen their introduction on Discovery  not sure what it is but both of the 2 times have tried still am in 1st season  __________________

I suppose the Kelvin timeline movies gave Uhura a first name. In TOS, I think Spock acknowledged having another name but said humans couldn't pronounce it properly. The idea of revealing that name hasn't grown on me at all. All the other Vulcans we've been introduced to have only had one name.
