Finally watched the finale. And what a finale.

Not fond of the fact we got a cliffhanger though, could have been an 11 or 12 episodes season without the cliffhanger.

But whatever, it was good, nice seeing Scotty here.

These Gorn are scary tbh, you kinda wonder how they managed to create and build space ship as it seems they mostly spend time mindlessly eating people. I like the alien franchise so I like these Gorn too, but realistically, they are more animals. They can't even speak.

The Gorn on TOS was kinda primitive too, but at least could speak a couple words beyond hissing. I mean one could argue that star trek is a bit reptilophobic as an intelligent reptilian alien species would be unemotional maybe, but still very smart and in a way would still develop a culture more like vulcans perhaps. Rather than a bunch of big hissing crocodiles in space.

That's an interesting take. Like you, I'd picture a reptilian intelligence as being cold and logical, like Vulcans.

Share your frustration about the season ending with a cliff hanger.
