I thought Kirk mentioning involvement with Carol was a nice tie in to the existing timelines.

Still watching it... but I like her character... I hope they either show her at the training or do it in between seasons.

ETA: Overall pretty well, I can imagine Spock having to do some drinking again to calm the Klingons.

Spock seems to assume the relationship is over, just cause she's going away for a bit, but I could see it potentially continuing, though with the interference with the people from the future... it certainly complicates things with Chapel.

What is wrong with Chapel? Treated Spock like he was unworthy of consideration, eek.
Sadly, I blame the future peeps for saying more than they should. But, still it would have been nice to have had a chat.

ETA: Didn't realize next episode was the finale... went by so quickly!

This episode was ok, but it wasn't a patch on the Buffy musical, which it was clearly inspired by.

Ok I wasn't really a fan of the whole singing tbh. The plot was rather boring.

But I liked some side interaction like the one between kirk and La'an.

I enjoyed this episode far more than I thought it would, but it definitely wasn't for everybody.
