Oh, I prefer those as well. I think the Picard ones are some effed up version though, so I don't mind them.

Rene will always be a part of the universe. Armin Shimerman said a few lovely words about him during a con last fall, it was very touching.

I mean Evolution would make sense why they might appear different.

Though with how much Discovery jumped into the future, it's unclear how this is resolved, though it would appear that they must have eventually taken care of the problem. I loved the Janeway mention, wonder if we'll see her at some point.

Loved seeing Ro Laren, sucks to see her go the way she did, but I like that she ended up pawning off her research to Picard before she left.

I wonder if Jack is a changeling turned into a solid. Similar to how odo was turned into a human being.

Jack? Hadn't thought of that, but with the whole trust no one theme, it's possible.

I loved seeing Ro again, and that she and Picard were able to discuss their past.

Me too, but did they really need to kill her off smh? I'm so tired of Picard killing off all the lagacy characters, Ro, Hugh, Icheb, Q. Feels so pointless. Though Q's and Icheb's deaths were the most senseless, bc icheb was killed in a flashback and Q actually can't die and they never explain why he'd die.

I did a little Ro vid for a friend that I'm watching the show with, thought you guys might like it also.
