We're in mid-April already and shooting finishes in May, (when in May I'm not sure). Time is running out, but maybe they might release some kind of trailer by late summer. Some people speculate that if there would be a trailer it would be attached to the G.I. Joe movie that took over Star Trek's original release date.

Well Peter Jackson released a trailer for The Hobbit a year before the movie comes out. Same for the teaser trailer for Dark Knight Rises. J.J. already has three and a half months worth of film, not to mention the preproduction stuff that took place in September. He could whip up a quick teaser for the summer and a fuller trailer for the holidays.
