Quark/Armin Shimerman Appreciation Thread
The Ferengi can try one's patience with their ridiculousness, but look close and you'll see that Armin is giving a performance of great depth and humanity as Quark. Superficially, his face seems cold, but those eyes are so expressive. There's much more to Quark than there might have been with a lesser actor. Armin is a Shakespeare scholar and a professor. This is not the stereotypical brainless glamour actor. Quark is one of my favorite Star Trek characters, all thanks to Armin's work. Armin also turned in hilarious work in Buffy seasons 1-3 as the sinister Principal Snyder. He had so many great lines there and he delivered them so well.

 In TNG I found the Ferengi could be quite annoying. Learning more about them in DS9 made them a lot more relatableIt was nice to see the friendship developed between Quark and Odo. __________________
