Great working relationship and friendship going on there. For a while they hinted at the possibility of something more, but deep down I knew that would never play out since he was captain.

I got that impression in the first couple seasons as well...but knew it wouldn't since it was never mentioned in past shows, I mean they mentioned his dog, but not T'Pol so I kept thinking either they did and something happened to her or they didn't.
