Johnnie - sounds like you had a nice time. This early in the season there wouldn't be many bugs out to think you'd make a good dinner.
Dave - I've noticed adults giving their kids fruit they haven't paid for in the grocery store. Hope you don't have to wait too long for the call. As we were cleaning up after supper last night the doorbell rang. It was a pizza delivery person. He's trying to hand me the pizza and is confused that I don't want to take it. Not sure who he was supposed to deliver it to, but it wasn't me. __________________

this is a record breaking wait.... over 2 hours long...... a half hour was on the "call back feature" - [you hang up and they call you back...and you have to wait between 20 minutes and 2 hours]-- today its 2 and a half hour record breaking wait in total I'm pretty much done for the day....

Yikes! At least you're in the comfort of your own home. Did they finally call you back?

Was ithe pizza already paid for Chris? Maybe someone was trying to be nice.
Did a lot of ceramic painting last night, turned 2 bears that weren't designed to be pandas into pandas, think my sister was surprised they turned out better ths she thought they would, especially the ornament one. Waiting on the phone annoys me, I remember dealing with that when my internet was out and having to be at work with a working phone. __________________

I don't know. Probably not since the driver just went back to his vehicle to figure it out. Also, it was Dominos and I'm not a big fan of their pizza.
Ceramic painting? Your sister is keeping you busy. Have a meeting with our financial advisor this afternoon. Then we'll probably get take out for supper. __________________

Chris: I sent you some pics on a site you may not check much of some of the stuff I've been painting, can't figure out how to get the links from messenger to link them here. Though I may do so later.
Around here guys don't normally let you have it until it's been paid for. __________________

Chris.... it was the Ohio Job and Family services that made me wait 2 1/2 hours long for my phone interview for Food assistance. I blame CoVid for this. During the first year the office got flooded with calls they had to do things differently.... now everyone has to call the office and wait between 30 minutes and over 2 hours. My food assistance got approaved...but with a lot of grief in the process

Johnnie! Enjoy your day.
Will you have a special birthday dinner? Dave - just the grief waiting around for the phone call or did they give you a hard time during the interview? __________________

Chris...the grief waiting for the phone call.... nobody likes to wait on the phone...even a half hour. The office also wants people to be home during their phone interview because the person applying/ renewing has to give his/ her social security number over the phone....so there's no running an errand while waiting for the call either. Paper work got mailed into the office early... so no problems with that.
I miss the old days when the appointments were at the State office and my dad drove me. And there was very little wait compared to what its like today. |

Johnnie - what did you get for dinner? Was there something on the menu you were craving? Have fun kayaking.
Dave - do you have any plans for today? We went out for supper last night. I had a crispy chicken ranch wrap, which was really good. __________________
