Dave - thanks for clarifying. That's what I thought you meant.

I got caught up on a few odds and ends around the house today.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get motivated to wash my floors.

Chris...how did your Holiday dinner turn out?

sadly for most people today when they hear the Letter C brought up they assume you or someone has the Virus my neighbors won't even talk to me... b/c they think I'm Asymtomatic carrier...but again...they rarely come out of their rooms... and I can hear doors open in the hallway just as much as someone can hear doors opening in some indoor hotel buildings

I went home early yesterday, pretty much worked my shift in full today, I was on second sandwiches, so less busy on my side as it's Skip/Front Line... but I did get a lot of prep done while I had no orders.

Building a wall around my isle in Minecraft... about to head to sleep soon though... Got the bottom layer over the void done as well as one of the long walls and more than half of another tall wall. (Basically the Sky Block is like a rectangular prism that is 80 x 80 blocks wide but 256 blocks high, so the bottom and top of it takes a lot less blocks to cover than the sides, I intend to cover up the sky and possibly plant some more trees at the very top... we'll see. You can't place any blocks after the 256 limit but you seem to be able to jump and whatnot above it, so hopefully if I plant a tree at 255 I'll be able to get it to grow normally.

Got to 30 in DDO earlier, probably gonna stay 30 til Sunday or Monday... we'll see... usually don't stay 30 that long, but I've been leveling with guildies this life... they tend to play about 3 or 4 hours a day on average where I used to play a lot more than that... I just kind of replaced the time I'm not playing with them with a different game. We'll see... might try another server out down the road or game mode, we'll see.

A former co-worker who I talk to on facebook regularly who I haven't seen since before this all started is supposed to drop in tomorrow... will be nice to see her.

Dave - the bbq chicken was really good, as was the strawberry shortcake. It's terrible that your neighbours would just assume that you have covid! Are you sure that they're not just being overly cautious and trying to avoid close contact with others in the confined space of hallways?

Johnnie - sounds like you're enjoying your game. I hope you have a nice visit with your friend. Did she move away from the area?

I need to get out to the pharmacy today and pick up more of my allergy medication.

No, but she relied heavily on the buses for travel. She was here a little while ago. Apparently there is a bus at 9 and no more buses until like 3 pm... and even then, max of 7 on bus.

Johnnie......have a good day at work if you have to work today. I told you my first job a long long time ago in a far away galexy was a deli restaruant ....I did sandwich prep... and helped with hot side order. Also have a good visit with your friend

Chris... I guess my point is... I hardly hear any doors open at all in my end of the hallway other than my neighbor who HAS to go out to walk her dog. I'm wondering how they are getting their food.... most everyone is over 60 in my half of the hallway I think

Dave - that is odd. Even if they have somebody getting groceries and other supplies for them, you'd think that you'd hear some noise in the hall.

A friend of mom's called this afternoon to ask how she's doing. We had quite a long chat.

Chris...you are right...I'd hear visitors come by unless everyone on my side of the hallway are using the side stairwell which I use most of the times too....but I have good hearing...so I can usually hear doors open.

Some person keeps calling and not leaving a message...it's not family because they will leave a message...and it's not Dr. because they are required to leave a message... it has to be one of my EX friends from years ago...

Is your Mom's friend going to try to visit your mom...or too much effort with the testing required and all??

Dave - it might be a scammer calling, so a good call to miss. Occasionally we get a fax machine repeatedly dialing our number. I wind up taking the phone off the hook for a while. Happy 4th of July!

Johnnie - it's been a while since I've had to rely on public transit, but having to transfer is a pain.

Yes, I have a bit of cooked chicken in the freezer. Might make chicken fajitas for supper tonight.

Watching fireworks on tv isn't quite the same, but it's still enjoyable.

Chris...enjoy your dinner

I haven't seen live fireworks on the 4th of July in years and years . I did find a local church nearby that has August fireworks as part of the international festival.....but they won't have that event this year

They usually put on a nice Canada Day fireworks display here. They do it off the pier at the beach, it's easy for people to see from a wide area.

Guess we're doing hotdogs for supper tonight. Maybe fajitas tomorrow night.

Laundry and vacuuming done. Even scrubbed out the tub. Didn't get around to washing the floors though. Maybe tomorrow.

What has everybody else been up to?
