What do you think of the "I've Got You Under My Skin" duet? Just curious. Until they did the Tony Bennett version, I didn't like any other versions other than Frank Sinatra or James Darren/Vic Fontaine.

It holds a special place in my O/K fangirling heart . It's a sacred song -- it has to be done well.

The duet is cute. Tony and Frank are great classic voices. They're hard to compete with. I like the Michael Buble version too, but I think James Darrin puts a little more emotion in it, which he totally milked when he performed it for the episode. Making it really enjoyable to watch over and over.

I always picture that if Kira was to perform a duet with Vic in "Badda Bing, Badda Bang" that it would be THAT song, done that way. The song holds such strong significance for Odo/Kira, and of course the role that Vic played in "changing Odo/Kira's lives" is mentioned in the episode by Kira during the conversation in Ops. Kira and Odo are helping Vic not just because they like him/enjoy his program, but because of the amount of gratitude they have for him for getting them together.

Always wondered what Vic thought when he heard about "the kiss." By the time Odo comes back to the holosuite in "His Way," Vic tells him that he's already heard about Odo and Kira being together.

JD's version was perfect for the Odo/Kira dance. Sultry and smooth.
