Good strong episode I thought

- Oh Jack Crusher you are great!
- Loved the sass and using his head in getting out of situations..
- Great Riker/Picard scenes and love Riker hints regarding Jack..
- Seven taking down Shaw with her sass.
- when bridge officer says "Captain" and three of them say yes
- Awe so long Bev's ship...
- Ok I will say it, I think Venik is the best villain of Nu Trek
- Awe Jack sacrificing himself to help his Mum..
- Worf!!!, what an entrance
- Riker basically telling Picard what he already knows...
- Shaw really should go out of an airlock...
- Riker helping Bev onto the bridge
- Picard/Crusher!!!!, that look, one look says it all , they still got it
- The big reveal
- Loved the symmetry between that scenes and their intro at 'Encounter at Farpoint'

Best start to a season for 'Picard' for me..

One little think though when Venik said synthetic Picard and Riker didn't question it??, i didn't think he knew...

Great episode again. We all assumed Jack was Picard's son. No idea why it was hidden from him for all these years though. Plus what about Wesley?

The Captain showed a few good qualities, but I'm not sure how he made it so far in Starfleet.

we need an explanation for that. The Beverly we knew from TNG wouldn't have kept that a secret unless there was some really extenuating circumstances. Hope there is at least a mention of Wesley in a future episode.
