Anybody who knows Colm Meaney from Irish films knows he's really restraining himself in DS9. He usually does much wilder performances. See The Commitments, The Snapper, The Van and Intermission for examples. He's a great actor.

 I don't think that I've seen any of those. Although I do remember seeing him as a villain in something, and he did a terrific job being intimidating and menancing.__________________
