and to start this new thread, found out this morning that my job finishes on Friday, was so annoyed this morning  , that I only got told this morning when they have been sitting on the news since Friday, and didn't bother to tell me. Considering I know some of the people at the company, you think I would get a bit more leeway than that..__________________

 that was really mean spirited of them not to give you as much notice as possible. Do they have to give you any severance pay?Dave - no, but their dog got into a fight with another neighbour's dog which required a trip to the vet. Maybe it had something to do with that. __________________

yea...dogs are considered peoples property.... so I bet that is what it was .....the neighbors also disputed what happened with their dogs

Tracey - I hope they don't hassle you about the severance pay.
Dave - not me. Had the local Conservation authority come and look at my ash tree today. The Emerald Ash Borer is making it's way into our area. They said my tree is healthy, and would recommend treating it. They drill holes around the tree, then put these syringe type things in, and the tree absorbs the chemical. __________________

I don't run my apartment air conditionaire...takes a lot of electricity... I do have a fan that keeps me cool
