It's wonderful to see such lovely arts created from such a brief official clip.

I'm so happy now! I've been binging Discovery the other week and was so intrigued by Pike coming up and all the jazz.
So about two, three days before this announcement I was talking on Insta with a fellow Trekkie and we expressed how much we'd love Pike series (also I'm not yet that into TNG to swoon over Piccard series so... )

Now my life will be complete...

Me three. With all the hype prior to the launch of Picard, I had really high expectations. Unfortunately the first season didn't do much for me. For Strange New Worlds, while I'm familiar with the characters, I'm not quite as invested as I was in Picard.

I hope the title is an indicator of the storylines we can expect. It would be nice to have them showing first contact with various species.

Introduce us to some new species, or elaborate on species that we've only seen once or twice.
