Oh so Spock and Uhura aren't going to get together in this series?
I didn't know that it was a different universe.

I just find it odd with Spock and Christine. But maybe if they went into depth a bit more on it then it might be ok idk. You don't think Spock and T'Pring actually want to be together? Like even if it might be more of a duty/arranged marriage kind of thing, does that mean they don't really have deep feelings towards each other?

Don't know what is going to happen with T'Pring and Spock. I think they will just go there separate ways.

I loved this episode. But then again, Spock based episodes are always great.

It was a bit strange seeing him without the ears. I don't find the Christine pairing strange at all, they had chemisty in the original. It does seem to me that T'Pring does have feelings for him but ultimately it will prove they are too different to settle for each other.

Loved how Pike was on board with an cherade. The captain helped so much!

Time for Spock and Nurse Chapman been waiting on that didn't mind his Vulcan fiancé but her mother was was great episode of seeing Amanda great actress for her version of that character just like Fran's of Sarek who have missed but also still have some left on Discovery but 2nd of 3rd season had too much for me

Such a hilarious episode, really liked it tbh.

I also think it's interesting they chose a middle eastern actress in TOS and indian actress in SNW to play T'pring as across the middle east and orient arranged marriage is still a lot more common than anywhere in western countries. Might be just co-incidence though.

Well it's not that odd if you think about TOS, in TOS chapel was also in love with spock and spock with her just that he was never able to show her human emotions except in one episode where he lost his emotion blockade and told her he loved her, don't remember the name of the episode though.

I quite enjoyed this. It was fun, and surprising by turns. I was glad in the end how he turned to Christine. The fact he felt he couldn't be honest with his fiancee was not a good sign. Spock and Christine certainly have more chemistry.

If I have a criticism of Spock it's how he ignores or is encouraged to ignore his human side. It doesn't make much sense to me as Amanda is fully accepted by Sarek, so why should he behave fully vulcan? So it was nice to see him embrace that more here.
