I'm still on the fence. Trying to take into account that this is a younger version of Kirk, who hasn't had all the experiences to become a Captain.

My favorite episode so far and I'm on episode 5. The whole time travel plot is always great. And some temporal cold war mention.
Plus La'an is my favorite of the female characters on SNW together with chapel. Loved that we god young Khan here. And it was so heartbreaking to see she could not save him and prevent him from becoming the 21st century's adolf hitler. I'm sure he could have been a good person if he hadn't been abused by the humans of his time for genetic experiments. But history had to take it's course. I don't mind Paul as Kirk. Though I think Chris Pine is a better modern Kirk than him overall. __________________

 it was nice to have the references to Khan and the genetic experiments.Agree about preferring Chris Pine's portrayal of Kirk. With Paul, there have been a few moments when I've seen a classic Kirk move. to be fair, we haven't seen a whole lot of the character yet. __________________

Interesting twists and turns. I didn't know quite where it was going. Very emotional ending! __________________
