Lol, but overall only one of the new characters will be in s3, the rest will all be the old gang plus seven and maybe more cameos from old characters.

It seems really strange to me that so many of the characters won't be in the third and final season.

The third season will be mostly a TNG reunion, so they had to ged rid of the cast of seasons 1-2. They also got a new showrunner for season 3 (though kurtzman is still head content creator for all trek shows).

I do like the idea of the TNG reunion, but it seems a shame to get rid of the characters who have carried the show so far.

This looks like a bio bed on a starfleet ship. also those lights on the wall remind me of the voyager or enterprise E sickbay.

Edit definitely enterprise e I think, bc they had the same sickbay as on the voyager.

Given the potential cast shift in the third season, I doubt we'll get answers to a lot of the stuff. I haven't gone on to read anything about the third season though as I'm trying to avoid as much spoilers as possible.

In regards to Q in Death Wish (Voyager), no Q had apparently ever died before... the one who died at the end of that one was made mortal/human after Janeway ruled what she ruled and then Q got the poison for he could indeed kill himself, rather than live on a natural human life... like was Q the first Q to die or are there others now? I mean there was the episode where the Q were fighting each other (The Q and the Grey), did a conflict re-ignite?

Maybe Q was being punished for his shenanigans in some way, but if it was indeed some natural ending of life that there would have been talk of other Q dying, the Q that wanted to die on Voyager made no mention of their lives ever ending... basically using it as his argument for asylum to be made mortal for he could die.

Loved John de Lancie's acting, just wished we as the audience had more of an idea as to what was going on if they aren't gonna touch base on it again.

In regards to Rios, loved the character... would have loved to see him next season... but given he's in the past I doubt we'll see him. I actually had hoped we'd see more of Whoopi's Guinan than we did.

Yeah was hoping we would have more of Whoopi's Guinan and annoying that we didn't get much of Q throughout the season and didn't find out exactly what was wrong with Q..
