I think it's understandable if they don't suspect her of being a spy on purpose because she doesn't seem capable and mind control or influencing through a forced mind meld is probably rare.

However Rios and probably Raffi too know that a person could be host to a tracker without knowing it so both of them should suspect Jurati and each other.

The death of Hugh was pointless, and the execution of it was awful, he could have least died in a better way, not because he wasn't hiding very well. Then to pull out the knife and make very little attempt to stop the bleeding, was a rubbish way to end it. I'd say it was a plot device, but I really don't know how the plot was improved by it.

Completely agree.

Raffi is much easier to suspect as the host of the tracker , especially since she's been off the ship and on her own after the journey started. Picard got the crew together rather quickly after Dahj's assassination, so it's hard to think that somebody was able to get a spy aboard so quickly.

I also rewatched some tng lately and realized how much better it actually is than Picard tbh.

I can't help remembering the fan backlash when TNG first came out though, so I'm willing to give this a chance. TNG took a while to get into its stride and become its own thing too.

I think there's only 3 more episodes this season.

Agree with you there. It seems to have taken far too long for them to establish their storyline.

Maybe we'll still learn that some of the stuff that's seemed to be superfluous is relevant information.

But they didn't kill off tos characters for shock value, I think that is already one big mistake that picard did that tng didn't.

As for the stuff agnes saw in that vulcan mind thing, I think it was related to that what happened in discovery season two with that artificial intelligence destroying the galaxy in the future. But from a vulcan point of vew I think it's not logical to hate all artificial life just bc of one occasion of evil AIs. I don't get why she works with the romulans. Also I'm sure the attack on mars was not bc the andorids were evil but bc someone programmed them to do this.

Also this episode makes me hate agnes even more. I mean she kills a friend of hers, just bc of something some shady vulcan lady is showing her? Good lord. She deserves some hard punishment, I hope she gets killed off. (narek and his sister should die too tbh).

It's nice that Riker mentioned the Xindi at some point.
