Enough to cancel things and close schools? They were forecasting a storm here for this afternoon, but it's been pushed back to tonight.

Took some home made lasagna out of the freezer for supper tonight.

No, schools were still open, it looks like the snowfall was all over with come the morning, had the storm started earlier on Thursday there probably wouldn't have been school on Thursday.

Went to the grocery store on my break and bought 3 Cheese Whizes and left. Almost picked up some ice cream, but it was more than I really wanted to pay. The Cheese Whiz was pretty pricy too actually, the points offer helped a little bit, but it wasn't on sale... think it might have been 10.99 each.

Yikes! and you bought 3 at that price?

Reminds me that I have to get a grocery order organized this morning.

Yeah... wasn't sure off hand what I needed to spend for the points offer. Really though, I doubt it'll go down anytime soon.

True. they might put it on sale, but regular prices don't seem to come down.

Needed a new bath mat for the tub. Checked Amazon and it was $38. Ridiculous. Then checked Canadian Tire and Home Hardware websites. It's on sale this week at Home Hardware for $17. Guess I've learned that Amazon isn't always cheapest.

Yeah, sales are nice when they do happen... but for awhile I wasn't going to the store much at all, so I figured unless it was an especially good deal it's hard to say I'd be incentivized enough to actually go.

Amazon is cheap for a lot of things, seems to depend on what it is... I've seen a lot of things are absurdly more money for some odd reason.

Played DDO a large part of today... didn't even open WoW, might do so tomorrow... hopefully I'll be up before the daily reset timer, maybe do the dailies a little before it and then they'll be up again after 11 am to do them again... Then I intend to mostly play DDO again tomorrow. Gonna get me 2nd Dark Ranger life over with.

Watched all 10 episodes of The Sandman between last night and today... Not a bad show... I seen the list of people on the show online... but the names I mostly recognized weren't in a whole lot of episodes. Jenna Coleman, Gwendolyn Christie, and the actor who played Tywin Lannister were all in some episodes.

During the height of covid, I went to the grocery store every 7-10 days. The habit of getting organized and getting enough for a week has stuck with me. Although just realized that I should have put coffee cream in the order I'm picking up this morning. Oh well, it's an excuse to go up to Sobeys.

Well, even before covid started... I think I had started to go out less in general... covid just didn't help matters any.

Played DDO most of today... got to 32 and reincarnated back down to 15 (well 14 holding 15), gonna save leveling on it for Tuesday probably.

Did a little bit of WoW today, not much though... might get some more play-time in on it tomorrow before my time runs out. Think I'm gonna go to my living room soon and watch a couple episodes of Early Edition before I go to sleep... just to relax to take a break from the computer chair.

For me, going out to pick up a few items was a nice excuse to get out.

Hope you enjoyed your afternoon.

What are you playing in WoW? I dabble in it every once in a while.

Mostly warlocks these days, got a level 66 Alliance, a 70 Horde, and 70 Neutral. The neutral one is a shaman, since warlocks cannot be neutral.

Think my game time runs out today... bought 2 more WOW tokens... Might wait a bit to use them though, got some things on DDO I could do before resubscribing. Not a whole lot that I do in it these days as I don't do any raiding outside LFR these days. I do run Night hold on norm, heroic, and mythic for gold, transmit, and mounts... do the same with Antorus... I believe it is, except I skip mythic, too much of a pain... the last boss.

Had been doing pet battles in BFA, Shadowlands, and Dragonflight, but got most achieves aside from Dragonflight, still potentially got a bunch of pet battle dungeons I could do. Got 2 out of the 4 Pandaria world bosses. Got a bunch of alts sitting in front of Galleon... Still need that one and Nalak.

As for Shadowlands I usually run the animal quest on all 4 covenants, that's about 1600 gold reward from each for very little time. As for Shadowlands reps, just have the Ember Court stuff left, though the 10k rep rewards past exalted generally give decent gold and chances of mounts or pets.

Dragonflight rep... Still working on, the races also generally a good source of gold as well.

Oh, Warlocks are so strong! Sounds like you've achieved a lot.

I recently leveled up a mage for Dragonflight, but my playtime has run out as well and I'm not going to renew for now. I usually burn out before endgame content, so I hardly ever see it.

What's DDO?

Dungeons and Dragons Online, lots of replayability in it.

Ember Court mostly keeps me interested, but can only do it once a week on a character, so it kind of sucks I can't do it more often.

The start of the expansion I spent about 2 weeks leveling up my neutral from 60 to 70... much easier leveling neutrals now than it was pre-Shadowlands.

I got a few mages, various levels... I think my highest is 51.

ETA: And game time is out, was hoping to get a few hours of play in after work, but oh well. Will play some DDO today while watching NCIS LA and The Last of Us from last night.

I've never played either of those games.

Noticed I didn't get one of my point offers on my grocery bill yesterday. Contacted them this morning and the 5,000 points have already been credited to my account.
