That was the scene that really cemented their relationship for me. I was enjoying them before but this took them to a whole new level. Actually the entire ep did because they had other scenes where they were vulnerable with each other. It's pretty much impossible for me to not ship them now. I am so looking forward to seeing where this relationship goes.

Yes their shared looks are prefect for both their situation and their relationship
I love that they always beam over in combat mode ready to shoot somebody  It's so different from other series. They always carry a weapon but it's rare for them to crouch down or have it drawn and ready to fire before they beam over. I could just be remembering wrong though. It's been so long since I have watched the other series. |

I love the crouched position for the same reason.

I do remember seeing them beaming over in a crouched position before, but as you say, it's not something they do on a regular basis. If they're not sure what they're going to find, it makes sense for them to be prepared.
