I think we seen her interact with more characters than anybody else, both professionally and casually.

oh yes

I have to say, for me, S4 has been the least fave season for me. Pacing was off and getting rid of characters, main storyline was boring..

hmm ... overall I enjoyed it. Agree about the pacing being off, but they did manage to wrap things up in the finale. Some of the characters did get a bit more screen time, like Joanne O, and we seen the bridge crew brainstorming a solution a couple of times. The whole Tarka & Book thing should have been condensed. Although kidnapped Reno was fun.

I admit i found season 2 the best tbh, but overall I did not really love any of the seasons. This is imo the weakest trek show to date. I enjoy picard more, especially with season 2 now.

I thought S2 was the best as well..

One of the few good things about S4 was we saw bridge crew go on away team missions with Burnham, we need more of that in next season

Agree that the second season has been the best so far.

Enjoyed that we got a bit more of some of the characters who had been mainly window dressing until now. But having others leave was annoying. For example the time that was spent last season regarding Grey, only to ship him off to Trill at the start of this season. Also learned a bit more about Bryce only to have him leave. I'd rather have focus on the characters that will be sticking around.

The show needs an overall plan so the writers can focus on the characters that will be sticking around.

I guess the Grey storyline served the purpose of forging the connection and family relationship between Paul/Hugh and Adira.

It did, but Grey is in the family too, very strange way to go on that storyline considering Grey has been reunited with Adira

I'm kind of ambivalent about his character. To me, he's served his purpose.
