Discovery Season 1 began in 2256 with The Vulcan Hello/Battle at the Binary Stars, leapt ahead 6 months to 2257 in Context is for Kings, and then leapt ahead 9 months to 2258 at the end of What's Past is Prologue.

Season 2 of the show then took place over the course of the rest of 2258 before Michael, the USS Discovery, and her 88-member skeleton crew set course for the year 3188 in Such Sweet Sorrow P2.

Season 3 of the show begins in 3188 with Michael's arrival in That Hope is You P1, and then leaps ahead one year to 3189 with the USS Discovery's arrival in Far from Home.
