I have to say this was quite a predictable episode. It was obvious that Book would (eventually) have a change of heart, it was obvious the anomaly would be destroyed anyway and start some kind of intergalactic incident.

Michael should never have been on that mission. Having someone emotionally compromised in charge is never a good move.

Having said that I'm really enjoying the show. Those character moments just make it great.

I predict a big humble pie coming Book's way in the following episodes.

Very true and she should have recognized that she would have to challenge herself to be objective.

Yes, she always seems to assume that the emotional side won't affect her work, and it clearly does.
