Good eppy, liked one storyline better than the other

- Liked the Hugh/Tily scene, telling her to try something new.
- Good to see that the guy at Starfleet had faith in Tily
- Must admit I did think the Burnham storyline was a bit boring, did like the Saru scenes though
- Nice Book/Hugh scenes too and glad that Hugh helped him and hope Book returns the favour to Hugh one day
- Good to see Adira on the away mission with Tily and going out of her comfort zone
- Tily showing her backbone with the cadets and getting them working as a team
- Lovely end scene with Michael and Tilly, but I hope this isn't the last we see of Tily

I enjoyed the Tilly & Adira training mission storyline more than the Burnham & Saru diplomatic story.

- ick @ the worm! I'd rather have the flu.
- not sure about the new look for Grey
- it was nice seeing Hugh counselling both Tilly and Book
- Tilly did a great job leading the training mission. She really helped the cadets get past their prejudices and become a team
- Saru has become a terrific diplomat - There's a difference between enduring and thriving
- nice scene with Michael and Tilly at the end. Tilly will be a terrific instructor, but I really hope this isn't the last we see of her.

Me too. Having some focus on the academy would open up storyline possibilities. Tilly will be a terrific instructor. She's proven that she instinctually knows when to encourage people, and when to step back and let them figure it out themselves. If they're completely writing her out, then I'm annoyed.

Do you think there's a relationship developing between Saru & President T'Rina?

Short question, but why does that one guy wear glasses?? Is that a fashion statement? Bc he's like the only character in trek ever to wear them, bc i mean medical technology is advanced enough to heal any such physical issue at this point.

Yes agree with that also hope we'll see her again and that they won't write her out.

it would be different, that's for sure considering their backgrounds.

Could be. Wearing glasses myself, I never really thought about it.

Yeah in our time most people wear glasses bc they need them, but in the 24th, let alone the 32nd century it seems more likely they would wear it just bc they like the look of it.
