I had a feeling Saru wouldn't stay gone for long.

I kinda wish that not every season was about some mysterious new force tbh. I mean we had, the AI created by section 31, we had the red anomalies, we the burn and now this. It feels like the writers don't have a lot of fantasy tbh.

Personally, I'd rather they lean towards science fiction rather than fantasy. But I do understand what you mean. It would be nice to just follow their adventures without it being related to something weird and wacky.

Oh I meant the writers don't have a lot of imagination in their writing not that I wanted actual fantasy. Bc there stories come of a bit repetitive with a new mysterious force every seson.

Thought it was an ok eppy, the character scenes were what made the eppy

- Glad that Saru is back , lovely scene with him reuniting with Burnham and asking to be her number one.
- Lovely Culber scenes in this eppy, from helping the crew to being there for Stamets and Tilly
- See Picard got a mention....
- at Stamets at his airlock joke
- Good to see Stamets and Book clear the air...
- Lovely scene with Tilly and Saru, they have become really good friends..
- That new disaster they face, looks like an animal from that end scene..

Lots of nice character scenes in this eppy, both as individuals and as couples.

- Saru declined a ship of his own in order to serve with Burnham. Very reminiscent of Riker with Picard
- Tilly to Saru - "did you get taller? Maybe you've got more swagger going on." :lmao. Seriously though, is he taller? Hubby thought so
- some nice scenes of Hugh and Adira spending time together
- Burnham has a holodeck in her quarters? Pretty cool.
- loved all the interaction between Burnham and Book.
- Saru is proving to be a great sounding board for Burnham
- @ the loss of gravity effect!
- Holo Paul travelling with Book was an interesting twist. "just pretend your life depends on it, like mine does"
- nice of Saru to acknowledge Bryce, and Tilly to acknowledge Adira's contributions
- wonder if we'll get to see Hugh counselling Tilly in a future episode?
- overall I thought it was a good episode.

Ahh yes I forgot about the holodeck in Burham's quarters, cool..

I hope we do see Tilly's counselling with Hugh..

totally agree about Saru signalling out Bryce, the bridge crew don't get that much recognition, so it was good to see , also Tilly commending Adira too..

Exactly. At first Tilly seemed a bit jealous that Adira was the one thinking outside the box and making suggestions. Once Tilly got past that, they worked well togehter.

Wondering if Grey will have an official position once he gets a corporeal form. Nice mention of Soong and Picard in that scene.

So they mentioned Picard... Why hasn't anyone tried to call Q out of the blue to try and get him to fix whatever is going on.

Generally some form of intelligence could be, but who knows.
