I'm not fan of cliff hangers, so I'm really hoping things are sorted out.

I really felt for Paul in this one.

Very exciting, great episode. Good to see Jonathan Frakes directing too.

I do want to see the next one and rescue everyone.

I caught up and agree, they always resolved things at the end of each season and I'd dislike it if this got stuck on a cliff hanger.

storylines do rap up...but it always presents a new situation for the audience to anticipate next season - like Burnham going into the Distant future end of last season

Good episode. Can't wait to see how they resolve it... Love that the sphere data seems to be helping fight back.

that was a nice twist.

Dave - yes, last season ended with a bit of a cliffhanger wondering where they'd wind up and how long it would take the Discovery to find Michael.

Gabriel - didn't TNG & VOY end some seasons with cliffhangers? The Best of Both Worlds & Time's Arrow come to mind. I agree with you though about rather having things sorted out.

Yep the old trek shows in the 90s always did, but I did like that discovery didn't do that and I wouldn't really want them to start with it now tbh.

The data that they couldn't delete/overwrite... I was thinking was probably the sphere data, though I'm surprised that it apparently doesn't take up a lot of space.

Wouldn't it depend on how much overall memory they have as to how much space it takes up?

That could be as well. They didn't seem too bothered at the time with the size of it with leaving it there.
