it is! So intense! And the ending :jaw_drop:

That was a CRAZY episode!! I still can't believe that ending!!! Ugh!! Nxt week hurry up!!

Good eppy this one :D

- Good seeing Saru telling the Admiral he trusts Tilly
- Lovely scene with Michael and Tilly in regards to Tilly's nervousness in being in command
- Glad we are seeing Hugh on more away teams this season
- Paul worried about Hugh :sigh:
- Saru's emotions getting in the way of being Captain :look:
- I bet Doug was greatful for doing an eppy without make-up ;)
- I had a feeling the Kelpin was the one causing the burn
- Love the snark Tilly gave the baddie and seeing the team proud of her
- Saru and Hugh :eek:
- Paul and Discovery :eek:

All going on in those last few mins, I think this eppy, for me, is a return to form after the last few eppy's..

it was such a cliffy it could have been a season finale!

Tilly going, "Okay, we'll skip Freud!" had me rollin with laughter! haha!

I loved that we got to se her feeling for the rivet, and seeing the feelings that came over her from touching it.

SARU AS HUMAN!!! You got see Doug Jones being EPIC! There was an interview done with Wilson Cruz and Doug Jones -- a little BTS featurette -- where Doug said he felt extremely spoiled by have so little make up to put on it! It was cute !LOL!

- loved the Michael and Tilly scene. Although I do think that if Tilly is going to be first officer, they need to promote her from ensign
- Saru definitely is having a hard time controlling his emotions
- so cool to see Doug Jones as himself! And the comment about feeling his heels on the ground! :lol:
- Tilly did a great job holding her own in the banter with Osyraa
- poor Paul!:hug:
:eek: @ the ending! I'm glad there's still one more so they can hopefully get themselves out of this mess.

To me the Su'Kal plot felt a bit contrived. I think it would have worked better if they had introduced him some episodes earlier and Saru had already talked to him on the screen or something. (They could have even made it a mystery earlier why Su'Kal didn't see Saru as Kelpien and then the holo program would have revealed that when we saw him as a human in this ep.)

I'm a bit confused about why the Vulcans think they caused the burn. I hope we will get back to that.

So we have two episodes left or is it just one?

I'm excited to see how they'll take back Discovery from the Emerald Chain, that will be fun!

:nod: They definitely need to clarify that.

I believe it's just one more episode. So I really hope they manage to break free from the Emerald Chain rather than leaving them captured until next season.

Good parts

Saru found a member of his species and another holo of another one -elder
that was a cool shadowlike monster scaring everyone
Book very useful getting people in and out on his ship
Tilly is a wise captain... Ironic because she is a Wiseman
Saru as a human in the program....I think that's how Doug JOnes looks for real?
Saru stayed behind
Burnham talking logic to Saru on several occasions...

dislike parts:
Obviously the ending...forgot it was 2 part finale
all the radiation, sickness talk
Solo life-form living in fear and looking for comfort

Saru being so in awe of and respectful to the elder was a nice touch.

:nod: It must have been nice not to have all the make up & prosthetics on.

I wonder if he makes a bit more money by having all that done to his face?
