I'm trying to get myself ready for the season finale. I bet it's going to be emotional, and it's gonna suck having to wait for a while again before we get S3.

I'm going to miss the hell out of Spock and Capt. Pike most especially. Disco really has a way of making you love characters, but as I mourned the loss of Capt. Lorca, I was able to move on. Right now, it sucks we have to say goodbye to these two.

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Deep down, I think we all knew that Pike and Spock would be short term characters due to continuity issues. they both quickly became an integral part of the crew and I'll miss them.

Make Them Laugh

it was an amazing episode.... somewhat painful with some people who got hurt and the Admiral gave up her life to save the ship

the whole thing would make a remarkable video game with all the ship battles

can't wait for next season

Completely agree, but they did have to get the time lines sorted out. Spock's suggestion at the inquiry that they'd have to keep any mention of Discovery secret made sense.

LOVED bada$$ Saru!
- standing up to Georgiou - "I'm surprised a Terran is surprised by anything"
- "Do you have anything relevant to offer?"
- ordering Leland to surrender
- the few moments with his sister

Also nice to see Hugh come to his senses about Paul
- " I realized you're my home."

This episode was EVERYTHING!! O_O Where to start?!?!?!

Philippa: Leland, you look well.
Nahn: For two batteries and a data core stuffed in a meat sack.
Philippa: Like an AI sausage.
Nahn: Ew...
I'm with Nahn on this one.... EW! lol! In Season three, I want more Nahn and Philippa interaction!! hahah!

Then Philippa getting her revenge! LOL! YAY! I actually laughed with her while she watched the AI scream. Long over due really! (great action by Michelle and Alan Van Sprang)

Reno telling Saru to get off her @$$! haha! And Saru's face! LMAO! OMG! Loved it!!

Spock and Michael saying goodbye!!! Michael calling him 'Little brother' *sobs*

Tilly re-routing shields with her eyes closed!! THAT MY GIRL!!! And her saying "Somebody owes me a beer!" I hope she gets that beer!

Then the arrival of that Klingon Cleave ship!! O_O!!!! WOW!!! Just tearing through Leland/Control's fleet!! YES! I actually liked L'Rell this episode when she laughed at the blood on her face!! and the iconic line TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE!! YES!

STAMETS!!! NO!!! Luckily Hugh was there to save his life and to tell Paul that he was his home!

Number One was another favorite of mine during this finale. And at the end when she was in the inquisition as "How long is this going to take?"

Definitely gonna have to watch this season all over from the beginning!

This was a wonderful finale to a great season

- The battle, oh my word . I think that battle was up there with one of the best they've done.
- Ooo poor Paul , so glad though that Hugh finally realised Paul is his home
- Loved the Spock/Michael scenes , they both saying 'I love you' too each other
- Saru was great as Captain and so glad he saw his sister again...
- Loved the Georgiou and Leland fight, Leland should have known that you can't beat her
- Reno telling Saru to get off his ass
- Aww Admiral
- Number One was great, loved her snark, shame we didn't see more of her during the season
- Captain Pike!!
- Glad the Klingons joined the fight, I did wonder what Ash had planned and now we know..
- Aww Tilly, knew you could do it
- Also was it my imagination or did Spock invent the prime directive
- That was a great ending with Pike and Spock in the classic uniform , off on their adventures
- Now WTH are Michael and 'Discovery'

I must say Pike and Spock have been a wonderful addition to S2 and am going to miss them...darn this wait for S3..

Also I do wonder when "Leland" was killed, why Michael and Discovery went through the worm hole

They didn't want to risk that others knew of the database and would come after it.

that was terrific. I really hope we see more of her next season.


They definitely haven't scrimped on the special effects for the show.

What an amazing episode! I guessed Spock would be left behind, but it was emotional seeing it happen.

I really want to know what happened to the Discovery!
