So this is the season finale? :goof:
Oh if its mid-season finale, than that's fine even if its quite early :bubble: means hopefully back in January or early 2018 |
Yes, it's the last new episode until January 8th.

Less than 2 months ;) it’s all good - longer than most cause most go until end of Nov but most come back late Jan

 Exactly. It's going on hiatus a bit early, but will be back early.

just when I'm getting really into it!

It was a good episode. I was and am really worried about Stamets.
I like that they returned to the idea of PTSD in Tyler, and acknowledging he had to do certain things in order to survive, which seems terribly true to life. Loved the growing relationship between Tyler and Michael. I actually felt sorry for the Klingons when the ship blew up. The Klingons were represented a bit better in this episode I thought. Nice that the Admiral got rescued. As for the ending, I wonder what where they are? |
are they pulling another Voyager?

Transported to another part of space? Maybe. Or another timeline?

I really loved this episode. It was a great winter finale!
The scenes with Stamets and Culber were great. They were so adorable in this ep. I really hope that Stamets will be ok. Of course he is definitely forever changed. I just hope he can get back to a good place soon where he can at least function as a normal person. I think doing the 133 jumps was way too much on his system and it ended up doing some real damage to him. I really want to know what is up with the Klingon who tortured and sexually abused Tyler. What is her her plan and endgame to everything? You can tell that she definitely has one and I think that it involves Tyler somehow and because of his PTSD I feel like she has some kind of control over him even though Tyler doesn't want to have anything to do with her. I think he might even suffer from Stockholm Syndrome. Hopefully he can break through her hold on him when the time comes. He really cares for Michael so that may be the key to breaking the Klingons spell. I am loving Tyler and Michael so much. I love that the thought of something happening to Michael is what made him wake up and realize he had to fight on the Klingon ship. And their scene at the end was so sweet. I really liked that Tyler fully opened up to Micheal and told her what the Klingon woman had done to him. And Michael completely understood and let him know that he did what he needed to do to stay alive and there is nothing wrong with fighting to stay alive in any circumstances. Quote:

I thought it was a good episode.
Interesting that Lorca was reluctant to have Michael on the away mission. That really didn't make much sense since, as she argued, she was familiar with the Klingon ship. Loved all the Stamets & Culber scenes. We even got an "I love you"! Intrigued to know what will happen to Stamets now. At least he finally admitted the effect that the spore drive has on him and was going to stop interfacing with it. Thought that establishing that Ash has PTSD was realistic. Also wonder about the hold that L'Rell has over him. It was nice that Michael was able to retrieve Georgiou's badge. Quote:

Looks like we're going to need a Michael & Ash thread. :D |
