Oh wow, that guy was great!

I like how Angel/Cordy came out of nowhere for him, I think that a lot of audience felt that way - especially with how thick it was laid on in that one episode. I think that everyone, except cangel shippers, can see that Angel's priorities & actions in that episode didn't make sense at all

He's in my top 5 favorite reactors on Youtube! He's really does a great job! Man how shocked he's going to be during the "Lullaby" episode.
And I just love how much he loves Darla... when Darla disappeared in season 2 he kept wondering if we would see her again and how her story just got left opened. He even wanted to see Harmony again.

He watched the entire Buffy series but he never watched Angel until now and now things makes much more sense to him. lol He didn't even know Faith got redeemed on the Angel series. lol And also the Dru appearance in the Fools In Love episode also make sense...

He wasn't hopeful for Angel/Darla's baby since he has a tough time believing that the baby would never be mentioned on the Buffy series. Luckily Buffy didn't spoil a lot of the storylines that was happening on Angel!

Oh and I am curious to how he will feel about Wes/Fred. He might eventually ship them but for now he said he can't see them together because they are more like brother and sister to him right now... he said he's seen some moments with Gunn so he wonders if that will happen.

It really just shows (as we discussed) how the mindset from viewers changed in the present compared to the past.

The A/C thing annoyed me so much because as you mentioned, it was way too rushed. One episode I was watching them as best friends and then the next episode they are secretly in love with each other and Fred talks about how perfect they are together, huh? It's like 10 episodes skipped for me. lol It was way to heavy handled with no hints of developing feelings so I wasn't a fan.

CA shippers are truly blinded if they didn't see how rushed that happened. lol
I think I could've became a shipper if it was slowed down back like 100. lol

She sure did! It was nice she got to share Connor's soul and feel as much love as she did.
Darla was still herself but she related more and was more compassionate.

Urg for us never getting a Dangel/Connor scene.

Ooh, I'm gonna have to watch the video when he watches Lullaby! He's probably going to be convinced that the baby will die & then that ending...

It's awesome that he's seen moments between Gunn & Fred too, because so many people say that they came out of nowhere & it's like.... they really didn't. You just didn't want to see it.

Angel & Cordelia could have been a lot better, it's kinda funny to me that the episode that confirms romantic feelings is the worst written from a C/A perspective. It is one of the things where it shows people just want their ship validated, no matter the cost to the character actually acting in character

^ I agree, if we are being honest with ourselves, the first few episodes of season 3, Fred was still very much crushing on Angel... and I liked that the reviewer also had an issue with that. lol When Angel was away for 3 months he wished that the other characters bonded with Fred... and looking back at it, that probably should've happened. She just stayed in the room and I guess got ignored since she was scared of leaving her room.

Agree with you on C?A, ship getting validated makes everything perfect. lol

I wish I was writing this show, Dangel would've been the endgame here.
For Angel I felt that Darla just made the most sense for so many reasons.

She did, even if Angel could find genuine happiness (with a perfect happiness loophole or something), whenever Darla would should up, you know he'd just put all that on the backburner to figure out what's going on with her. He's always be chasing after her in one way or another & no one else will just ever become a part of him the way that she is

Yep, Darla appearance could always take his focus away from all because of how much control she still very much had on him!
She had a hold on him that no one else really truly matched and it was amazing to watch it. lol

It was, especially as they had the chemistry to back up that kind of pull that they had with each other

Definitely, & I can't imagine many actors could pull that kind of thing off

Even in their first episode together in s1 of Buffy, their chemistry just radiated off the screen

Of course we gotta thank Tim Minear first and foremost! Loved that he wanted a love interest of Angel that made sense when they were told of a love interest for Angel... especially since he didn't have any connections with the Buffy show, he clearly looked back on how Angel history was written on that show.

^ He sure was, anyone can lie to themselves and pretend that wasn't true but he didn't have any purpose on the Buffy series. Nothing going on besides wanting to be with Buffy. He wasn't even close to being a hero since he didn't do anything except wait on the sidelines until Buffy asked for help with something....

That was a powerful moment! Her feelings for her was still so strong.

They were & the way Julie delivered the line 'but I still do', we all knew that, but it still felt like such a bombshell
