I never liked how in 3x20, Schwahn used that against them... They have Peyton hastily propose to Jake upon hearing Jenny call her "mom". A proposal should be done right, with the right amount of build-up and preparation - no, in this case, it's done to imply that Peyton craves a family SO much that she's just latching onto one that is crying out for her

I can't believe Mark took away the ONE thing that gave gravity to this show. The idea that two teenagers can somehow become adults and love each other and be parents to a little girl without other BS getting in the way.

Yeah, that was really stupid, Peyton said "I want this family", she loved them & the three of them fit together. & we never saw Peyton try & carve out a family in any other way, & she spent all that time in s3 single, not like someone who was desperate for a family. It's not like she then started trying to date other single dads - so that theory really doesn't hold any weight
