I would love to see Emily accept L/L and Luke it would be nice for them to form a relationship that helped bring Lorelai closer to Emily. I think there is a chance that eventually over time Emily may accept them, she hasd to at the least tolerate them though or she will lose Lorelai.

There is this part in me that would love to see Emily accepting, and liking, Luke. But there's this part of me that thinks that this will not happen. Amy likes conflict and what's a better way to cause conflict than the tried and true standard of mother not liking daughter's boyfriend?

Yeah there is a part of me too who wants to see that Emily is really liking luke and is happy for her doughter.. maybe that will happen some day .. but its hard ti imagine
