I love this couple!!!!

OMGosh what a great idea for a thread!

Gone With the Wind is one of the greatest books EVER, and I almost loved the movie as much as the book (and that says a lot).

I think Rhett/Scarlett pretty much has spoilt me when it comes to shipping because a lot of the couples I like resembles them a tiny bit - love the bantering.

I love Scarlett & Rhett. I love how fiery their relationship was and how both of them were so stubborn. Has any one read the "sequel" to Gone With The Wind?

I agree with everything you said Maxi.A lot of my couples resemble them too.I always look for a Rhett and Scarlett connection in my couples.

My sister had part 2 but I never read it.I saw the movie though.

I think I only saw a short clip of the the second part, and decided not to see it because from what little I saw I wasn't that impressed with the acting. Of course I could be wrong though since I saw so little of it.

The Gone With the Wind movie is simply wonderful though! [img]smilies/love.gif[/img] Pretty much as good as the book, and that says a lot.

The second movie is ok.It's pretty good.Especially with the ending of the first movie it was a real good ending but my romantic heart wanted Rhett and Scarlett to end up together officially so I watched the second movie.

The only thing I didn't like about the book that I loved about the movie was that they didn't make her pregnant in the movies.I didn't like the fact that she was a mom before Rhett.Though this coming from someone who saw the movie first.

I should reread the books. It's been a few years since I last read them. Since I bought Gone With the Wind earlier this year I have watched it not too long ago.

My sis has the movie on VHS and I will prob get it for my birthday and I still have to read the second book.

There's finally a thread for Rhett/Scarlett!

I only finished the book a few weeks ago and loved it so much.

I'd seen the movie first, I liked it, but it was a bit over the top, so I didn't expect the book to be any good, but I started it anyway, and loved it.

I'm in the middle of "Scarlett"- the sequel which is okay, but not as good as GWTW. I like it because it has a lot of Rhett/Scarlett bits in it [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I'm going to read Scarlett one of these days.
