The Seth/Kate team up during the first episodes was everything I ever wanted I was upset it didn't last longer but I feel the writers want them to be a slow build up. If they had stayed together during the entire season something would have happened eventually.

I couldn't stand the tattoo lady. She was so boring and it was obvious she was going to betray the Geckos. I wonder why they had to include her because her character added nothing.

I still wonder if Santanico even likes Richie. He showed her that he is just as greedy as Carlos and will love to be in the position of one of the lords while Santanico just wants to destroy them.

I also ship Richie/Kate a little. My OT3 is Seth/Kate/Richie. I hope next season they get to spend more time together because for me they have the best chemistry.

I agree. It was so good and I love she even told him about her dad. I wanted that conversation so bad. It does suck it didn't last too long but I agree that they are doing a slow build for a lot of reasons and I prefer that. Doing this also let's both go down a path they needed to.

Haven't officially seen S2 so can't comment on Sonja.

In general or romantic wise?

I personally feel Santanico has always used Richie to get what she needed and Richie started to too (with her) after becoming Culebra. I think they were more business partners than anything. There might have been some caring on both sides but only to an extent especially with Santanico.

As for romantic I think Richie was attracted to her but that's it. As for Santanico with everything she has been through I really don't see her falling for a guy and Richie is no exception. But again haven't actually seen S2 yet (just through gifs and those have mostly been Kate and SK.

I also ship Richie/Kate too and ot3 SKR. And I would love it if we got more ot3 scenes next season. I agree all the 3 have the best chemistry.

Sonja is one of the most obvious Judas I have seen in a long time. Also Seth was too naïve with her. It was so obvious there was something off. The way she dies shocked me. I hope nobody spoiled you that.

I feel like Richie had feelings for Santanico and thought they could have a real relationship but as S2 progresses he becomes more and more disappointed with her. The honeymoon phase is over really fast and it becomes obvious they want very different things. Richie hasn't given up on her completely but during 2x08 it seems he chooses power over her. Maybe he is just tricking the villain but everything is pointing to Richie and Santanico being over and the Gecko brothers working together again during S3.

I agree that Santanico has been using Richie since the beginning but I think she liked him and thought maybe he was different. It turns out he has more in common with Carlos than she thought. I would be shocked if they aren't over before the season ends.

I spoiled myself what happens with Kate at the end and I think they did that so Kate could be more involved in the main storyline in S3 and maybe explore a romantic relationship in the future. Also I think Robert Rodriguez wanted to wait until Madison was a little bit older. She was 17 when the show started and now she is 19.

Great that you ship SKR too. I just hope the characters aren't separated most of the season again. I want Kate to interact with Seth and Richie and most fans seem to agree

I'm kinda 50/50 on Dark!Kate! But I'm that way because writers have screwed me over before. But if written well this can be so ****ing fantastic. Especially like you said it could help integrate her into the storyline/mythology more rather than just being all about her brother. And yeah her age could have been one of the many reasons they are doing a slow burn. Definitely not the only reason but one of them.

The writers haven't disappointed me so far and they haven't fallen into common traps that come with the vampire mythology so I trust them. Also they seem to love Kate/Madison so I think dark!Kate is going to be a great storyline. Like you said this new storyline will open a lot of possibilities for Kate instead of focusing so much on her brother.

I think the writers have always wanted a slow burn. I would have been ridiculous for the characters to get together right away. At least both Madison and DJ seem to be on board with Seth/Kate. Zane is the one who seems to be more upset by the age difference

I really hope so because I have been burned by way too many writers. But I do agree these writers seem to actually care about their story. And I do agree that it can really give so many different possibilities to what is coming next for her.

I agree and that is always a good thing for couples. Slow burns are better than just putting them together quickly. And they definitely need a slow burn.

I have never heard Zane say anything against the age difference. But I have heard that D.J. has said a couple of things. Not necessarily against it though.

The last two episodes were so freaking good. There was lots of actions and lots of great scenes. I can't wait to see what happens in S3 but I don't know how I'm going to survive until August.

I was right about the Gecko brothers teaming up again at the end of S2 and Santanico leaving them. I think Santanico's storyline got closure so I wonder what she will do in S3. Both Santanico and Richie seemed to be over each other. It seems Scott will stay with the brothers.

I don't know what will happen with Kate. The guy that got possessed by the santa sangre in flashbacks went insane but he was still alive when that happened. It seems the santa sangre brought Kate back to life. I hope she is something special like The Regulator and we don't lose Kate. I'm going to be really angry if Kate actually died and Madison has to play a new character in S3.

I couldn't find any info about S3. The only interview I found Robert was very vague about everything. The only spoiler is that S3 villain will be one of the lords but she is a woman. Everybody (including Robert) wants Salma Hayek to play her.

Both Seth and Richie seemed to be very upset about Kate dying. Seth was in shock and it looked like it really hurt him. And both brothers wanted Carlos to suffer for what he did. The last two episodes proved that Seth and Richie had feelings for Kate and cared a lot about her. That's canon

I love they teamed up and it was because of Kate. And I also love Scott got to give the final blow to Carlos (who I'm sure will some how be back). From what little I know of her story I assume S3 she might come back and help the brothers plus Scott with Dark!Kate and will also be struggling with if she can go back to being Kisa or staying the Santanico she became. With more I'm sure but I didn't really follow Santanico's storyline through sets or spoilers.

That is also another thing that worries me about me Dark!Kate. Did Kate legit die and the santa sangre is just possessing her body? I really hope not. I hope it's Kate but possessed/dark.

Oh I would love for Salma Hayek to be on the show! That could also tie into Kate and Santanico's story.

I love their reactions to her death so much. And yeah whether people see it romantically or not I think it proves both really did care for her.

I think Maia (Demi Lovato) will be the one who puts Carlos back together because she listened to Richie and Seth's plan of burying his body parts in different places.

I expect the show to have a big time jump (like six months or a year). Between season one and season two there was a time jump of three months.

I think Santanico will be on her own for a while but I think she will be back because the brothers will need her knowledge to beat this new lord. Or maybe she will join the new female lord who knows.

I think Robert knows Kate is a fan favorite and that 99% of the fandom loves her. I'm sure Kate will be back but she will have to live with the darkness in her. I just hope there isn't a second personality or something like that. I want dark!Kate to be her 100%.

Yeah probably. Because there is no way he's staying dead. A part of me doesn't want a time jump but another part can see the benefits of it.

They may also need her help with Kate.

There needs to be a time jump because it would be ridiculous for Maia to find Carlos so fast. It should take her months. And Carlos is never going away. He is always going to be an antagonist.

Also it would be nice to see the Geckos more established and running their own business before the chaos starts again.

Yeah but we are talking about FDTD here. I mean look how quickly Seth got over his heroin addiction. Unless there was a time jump there I missed by not watching it. But more than likely there will probably be a time jump in the first or 2nd episode.
