Sarah&Freddie: Because everything else before him was a blur
Sarah Michelle Gellar & Freddie Prinze Jr.  Sarah & Freddie first met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997. Both were involved with other people at the time so, it wasn’t until 2 years later that the couple began dating. The Wedding Day was on the 1st September, 2002 and was held at the Sol de Oriente in Mexico. They rented out the entire resort for the weekend (all 51 rooms costing £200 per night!) All the guests stayed at the resort on Saturday for a day in the sun, snorkelling etc. Guests included Shannon Doherty, Eva LaRue, Dule Hill, Tyler Christopher and bridesmaid Lindsey Sloane. Sarah and a few of the guests suffered from a mild case of gastroenteritis and dehydration and spent some time in a Medical Facility on her wedding day. She had to have an IV put in her (obviously so she could recover faster). Unfortunately, there was also a thunderstorm and everything had to be moved inside. Sarah wore a Vera Wang dress, while Freddie wore a custom made linen suit. Bridesmaids wore long chiffon Vera Wang gowns. Cathy Waterman rings were exchanged - she's also made rings for such celebs as Gwyneth Paltrow. The white backless dress she wore afterwards was by BCBG. The flip-flops that Sarah wore after the wedding were by Mella. Buy them here! $10,000 was spent on wedding cake alone. The cake was a four-tier vanilla, adorned with red and pink fresh roses. Guests feasted on filet mignon and lobster tails. There was an earthquake the day after the wedding. Sarah and Freddie's wedding "souvenir" was a cookbook called Cuisine of the Water Gods by Patricia Quintana. Sarah's friends gave her two pairs of embroidered cotton pyjamas as a wedding gift. One pair says "Kiss the Bride" and the other says "Happily Ever After". They're by Cherry Pie. Sarah had her own perfume designed for her wedding, composed of marine and floral notes, as she and Freddie love the ocean. For 1 oz. of perfume it was something like $175. On September 1st this year, Sarah & Freddie will be celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary together. Congratulations to them both and we wish them happiness and success in all the years to come.
