Yup. I might be mixing up the context in the show a little bit but at the hospital she was taken to they were eating guinea pigs that were meant for medical research because of the lack of other food options in the zombie apocalypse. I remember Emily mentioning that it was actual guinea pig used in that scene A.) because obviously that's pretty weird and B.) it's especially gross to have a vegetarian have to eat meat let alone something as uncommon as guinea pig.

Honestly don't know why they didn't use a substitute, it's not like the audience can tell, but that's just the ****ty way Scott Gimple and The Walking Dead does every single thing.

I think you are remembering correctly. I was going down memory lane and looking at some certain threads on a closed board and I think I came across you talking about it then too.

That is so disgusting and yeah why did it have to be real? Like you said none of us would have known the difference and even if so so what. It's a show about zombies. I think we can suspend our disbelief and pretend she's eating that when she isn't.
