I wonder if they'd think about bringing Beth back now that Rick is leaving and Daryl will most likely take over.

I truly believe that that could be so compelling and fresh and new if it was done by good writers. But I don't think the walking dead has those so... I also think for it to happen the writers would need to admit they made a huge mistake and are in the wrong and I'm not sure they think they have made any mistakes with the show, let alone them being willing to admit to any.

There's one writer left that is still good. Angela something or other. I do agree it'd be bad for them to bring her back only now though.
I just wonder why Emily has yet to take zombie hunter off her bio description after three years. __________________

Angela kang is now the headwriter and I'm not convinced she's a good writer. She wrote Still, yes, but she also wrote the episode of coda and the stupidest death ever which was basically the beginning of the walking dead's downfall. It's like the saying, even a broken clock is right twice a day. We thought gimple was a good writer as well once upon a time.
the walking dead is still Emily's most well-known role so I understand why she keeps it in her social media bios. __________________

I agree with what Kay said. Still was great but I feel that was more of a one time hit than her being a great writer.
Also agree with this. Plus just because Beth is dead doesn't mean she has to get rid of it. |

Yeah and from what little I've seen of her there's a reason she was gimple's right hand woman. She very much falls in line with a lot of his thinking.

It's possible she wrote for the Coda episode but not the actual stupid scene that should never exist.

Anything is possible I guess but I don't know why the sole writer credited for an episode wouldn't write the most important scene in that episode. Unless she's not a good writer. But even without that scene the entire episode as a whole weak and hella contrived.

You've got a point there. The whole episode was WTF?

Yeah it wasn't just one part of it, it was everything.

It was as if a little kid wrote that episode or heck a little kid could've written it better than that.
