audrey/nathan/duke?

Why are they still talking about a triangle? Wasn't that over when we learnt that Nathan and Sarah had a child together and the fact that they're meant to be together in every life? Did I miss something about the triangle? Plus what's the point of bringing Jennifer in the middle if the triangle still lives?
|
I don't know. That's what is confusing me.
I mean, Audrey told Nathan that she LOVES him in front of Duke. And Nathan/Audrey have a son together!!!! So I have no clue why the writers are still talking about a "triangle." I've been reading recent interviews/listening to radio shows, and they are all still discussing the supposed "triangle." Even the writers are still calling it a "triangle"!!! |
I think Duke's given up on trying, tbh. Plus he and Audrey give me more of a friend vibe anyways.

I just hate the fact that the writers keep talking about the supposed "triangle." And the fact that it is brought up in every single interview. |
I agree with both of you. Also we shouldn't forget the fact that Duke is still pretty much in love with Audrey and Nathan is aware of it. That is the reason why it's still a triangle. Duke and Audrey did kiss last season.
|
Except their kiss wasn't out of love or anything like that. Audrey was desperate, sad, hurt, angry, drunk. And Duke was there.
Frankly, this whole "triangle" thing is the biggest BS ever. Nathan and Audrey are in love with each other, the end. There isn't a triangle to speak of. If Duke is in love with Audrey or not, too bad, he isnt part of it. He's a third wheel. It's pointless to drag this very much DEAD horse around like they're trying Hopefully with Jennifer there, Duke ill start shifting his attention and focus and let go of Audrey completely, because she's one girl he will never get. |
I wonder if they will ever get Audrey back out of Lexie, or if we'll have Lexie from now on.
Yeah, it's not really a triangle. I don't know why they're still referring to their friendship as one, it's weird. |
Audrey will be back, they already confirmed it.

Look at Nathan and Duke's reactions to Audrey missing now. Nathan is COMPLETELY devastated and broken. He can't function and think. He's lost without her. Now, look at Duke, he is totally fine! He's spending time with Jennifer and protecting her. He's not lost or broken. Nathan literally cannot live without Audrey. But Duke can. I think that's the difference here. And yeah, it's been 4 seasons already, I wish the writers/interviewers would STOP referring to the trio as a triangle. It's a friendship trio with Naudrey as the love story here. I mean, if there is hopefully a season 5, will it again be referred to a triangle? I mean, for what 10 seasons??? It's getting a bit old. Naudrey share a child. She told Nathan that she has always loved him and that she ALWAYS will love him. What is she going to do now? Say "never mind, I love Duke." That would be horrible writing!!! I trust Haven writers a lot more than that! As a side note, did you guys notice that Duke/Jennifer got their own theme music? It played during their two intimate talks in episode 2. When he told her the story about Nathan, and at the end of the episode when she tossed her pills. The writers also said that they'll be growing closer. I just don't know if Jennifer will come back in season 5. I hope she does. I love her. |

But today's twitter comment confused me. I asked one of the writers if Naudrey fans will be happy with this season. And he said that all the fans will be happy with this season. That there will be stuff for everyone. Well, how could that be? If they put in some Audrey/Duke stuff, why would Naudrey fans be happy with that? Or vice versa... |
I opened a Duke/Jennifer thread if you're interested  http://www.fanforum.com/f88/duke-%E2.../#post71824959
