Shailene: He brings this incredibly, special, powerful essence to the screen. You show up and he’s just there. You don’t have to think about being an actor, you don’t have to think about acting, you don’t have to hink about what the scene is supposed to be or who you’re supposed to be, you just have to be present and listen, and everything kind of comes naturally.

Miles: Shailene is so no Hollywood, man, she’s refreshing, she’s an incredible person, she’s such a talented actress, a beautiful human being, she’s exceptional, I’m lucky to have her as a friend.

Shailene: I want to work with Miles on every movie. I want to do every different character relationship with Miles.
Miles: Seriously, we want to do a musical together. And I’ll have a cockney accent.
Shailene: Ay’ll ‘ave a cockney accent!
Miles: “Consida yerself … “
Shailene: “At ‘ome!”

Miles: We talked under a tree for, like, an hour and she told me about GMOs, which I didn’t know what they were. I still kinda know. I was just calling my mom, and I was like ‘Corn’s bad.’ But I didn’t really know why. Shailene and I are very different, but at the core, I think we’re both very playful spirits.

Miles: Shai… she’s just, like, fearless. If you met her you wouldn’t necessarily know that she’s 21 because she’s very strong in her views and she has her convictions…she’s proud of the person she’s putting out into the world.

Shailene: We met right before we began filming. We ate lunch together and then talked for about two or three hours and then went straight to Georgia. We just naturally became friends and he became my brother for life. I want to do a movie a year with him.
