Andy: I have moved on.
Sam: You're snooping around in her desk. You really wanna move on? Get an ax, smash it to pieces.
Andy: No, cause I'm not angry anymore. I was angry last week. I'm a bargaining now. Which is why I thought that if I cleaned out her desk, I'd feel a lot better.
Sam: Well do ya?
Andy: No. No I don't. Which makes me feel like I've maybe moved on to depression? With acceptance right around the corner.

2.10 Best Laid Plans

Sam: I saw a pal of yours this morning
Andy: Who?
Sam: Donovan Boyd
Andy: [rolling her eyes] what I do wrong this time?
Sam: He’s setting up a UC operation, cover apartment, new identity, whole nine yards
Andy: Cover apartment?
Sam: This one is off the grid, only contact is with Boyd and the team
Andy: Yeah for how long?
Sam: Weeks, months, maybe longer [he looks over to her] I go in three weeks
Andy: What that’s it? You’re not even gonna think about it?
Sam: What is there to think about?

Andy: So this undercover operation with Boyd, is it dangerous?
Sam: Well they don’t usually do deep cover on people with parking tickets…why you wanna come with me?
Andy: Just thought maybe you could use the backup. Heard last time you were in deep cover you got chased down and tackled by a girl [a mock laugh on her face]
Sam: Overeager rookie, didn’t want to make her look bad on her first day

[Andy picks up her phone and calls Sam, goes to voicemail, she leaves a message]
Hey look I just wanted to say that I know that I’ve got a plan and it’s a great one but screw it, screw the plan cause I don’t wanna save the good candy for later anymore you know? I wanna drink the champagne now and…OK you’ve three weeks right? So let’s make em count, starting tonight, I’m coming over
[she hang up the phone as we Sam leave with Boyd for his UC op 3 weeks early]


2.11 A Little Faith

[Sam and Andy sit a bar after meeting whilst he is deep UC, they try to talk whilst keeping their cover intact]

Sam: What brings you to town?
Andy: A conference [she plays nervously with her earring]
Sam: A conference? What kind?
Andy: Insurance [she smiles]
Sam: Insurance? How’s that been?
Andy: Great, terrific… a little lonely. What about you?
Sam: New job, fresh start.. Actually I’ve been wondering why I got into this business in the first place
Andy: What business is that?
Sam: Oh nothing as interesting as insurance that’s for sure
Andy: [laughing] nothing is

[Andy walks back into the bar, a while after their first meeting]
Andy: Hey
Sam: [surprised to see her] Hey
Andy: Um I’m gonna be on a plane in a couple hours back to Appleton and I’ll be gone out of your life so..if you’re not doing anything in the next couple hours maybe..[she smiles at him and shrugs her shoulders]
Sam: I..I’m with my boss and I wouldn’t want you to miss your flight
Andy: [disappointment in her voice] OK, then I’m gone

[Andy stands outside the bar after Sam rejected her, she stares into the distance, a hand touches her shoulder and turns her around. Its Sam]

Sam: Let’s go

[Back at his cover apartment Andy takes off her coat and Sam takes it from her]
Andy: So you can just turn the cameras off they don’t care?
Sam: I gotta have some kind of life right?
Andy: I guess
Sam: I’m gonna call you a cab, it’s gonna take you back to the station you’re gonna get into your uniform
[Andy walks away into the room, Sam’s eye follow her]
Andy: No
[Sam walks over to her slowly as she sits herself on the edge of the table]
Sam: If you don’t leave now, there’s no going back
Andy: I don’t want to go back
[He outs his hand to the side of her face and slowly kisses her]

2.12 On the Double

[Sam lays in bed as Andy thrashes about under the duvet]

Sam: What are you doing?
Andy: Putting on my shirt
Sam: Ah, I wouldn’t have made you for shy
Andy: I’m not being shy I’m just…
[Sam pulls back the duvet with a smile]
Sam: Wire’s off, camera’s off Andy
Andy: Prove it
[Sam raises an eyebrow and jumps out of the bed, walking towards the kitchen stark naked]
Sam: Happy?
Andy: [with a massive grin on her face] Very
[They are both getting dressed taking about Andy finalising her mortgage]
Andy: So you wanna come?
Sam: I wish I could but I gotta turn these cameras back on and start behaving, another eight hours without a wire Boyd might actually notice….I’m gonna miss you

[flashback: Andy is at The Penny with the rookie’s enjoying karaoke when her phone rings]
Andy: Hello.. Yeah I cant hear you…[she smiles] I’m leaving now

[Sometime later Andy lays on the floor of Sam’s cover apartment as he drinks from the tap]
Sam: Almost makes me wish I was there
Andy: Oh yeah what would you sing?
Sam: Stuck in the middle with you

Sam: no no love the one you’re with [he kneels down and leans over her]
