Christopher Plummer. :in_love: My favourite Canadian actor - so charming, so urbane, so handsome!

My favourite movie growing up and it still stands today as one of my favourites. Christopher Plummer & Julie Andrews were absolutely wonderful together and I can say with great pride that I had an opportunity to see them both in live concert. Fabulous!

Thanks for the stunning pic. I visited Austria two summers ago, and visited stunning Vienna. I badly wanted to visit Salzburg, where the Sound of Music site is (SOM was filmed in Salzburg) but unfortunately I couldn't go! Bummer!

I also love the kids in this film & their relationship with their father Captain Von Trapp & with stepmother Maria, they were great, particularly Angela Cartwright (Brigitta) & Charmian Carr (Liesl).

I have to say that I love tat u have a thread for Maria/Captain VonTrapp. i didnt expect to see this. I think the movie was awesome. i've see it tons of times.....managed to wear out 2 VHS cassettes. but i learnt my lesson, and i now have a DVD. just so i can watch them over and over again. oh, and i love all the kids too.

aww they were so cute i loved when they danced together at the party :) and even the Baroness realized there was something between them.
