I didn't understand the Duncan/Veronica thing at all, especially in Season 2. She was always more on Logan's level in terms of sarcasm and confidence.

Matt Le Blanc, from what I remember, seemed to genuinely root for Joey/Rachel at first, and he made sure to tell everyone in interviews that David Crane described the Joey/Rachel/Ross love triangle as interesting "because it's like playing with fire"

He seemed to switch by Season 10, I'm guessing because people were too blinded by RR to give anything else a chance.

I'm guessing at that point it was just the party line & Matt was going along with it...

Me too. My love for him grew every year it seemed. When we saw more of Joey, the best friend anyone could have, and less of the womanizer, that we saw in season one.

I agree. I watch the Logan Veronica stuff in 201 and not the rest. Well, not the Duncan stuff at least.

Perhaps he was. Joey and Rach made sense. They just worked and accepted each other, for who they were. Not only that, they loved who those things.

The RR thing was so out of control and overblown. RR were only together for a year. Monica and Chandler, they were the couple that should have been talked about on that level. They saved the show, imo.

I agree that Monica & Chandler became the couple of the show, don't know why the writers thought they needed to go back to RR - they both outgrew each other.

It really bugged me how people were still treating RR by Season 10 as if they had ONLY JUST broken up. Like Ross said to Joey, "6 years and because of me, you guys aren't gonna be together?"

but mostly because I was always angry that it was used to break up her and Joey.

Maybe a bit sooner, like pretty soon after they get back from their date

Or, the whole episode. They 'break up', Joey sits on the couch, thinking about how long he's wanted this and now it's just slipped away. Rachel goes to her room, leans against the door and thinks about how excited she had been about this new huge possibility in her life. Joey gets up, he's not giving up that easily, but when he gets to her door, she's already running back out. No words needed, they both know. Just like that their sex issue is gone, & their relationship is cemented. The end.
