I guess there aren't many Lorelai/Max lovers out there. People must have gotten over them quickly and forgotten about them. Probably because it was totally eclipsed by the Luke/Lorelai relationship, but I, for one, haven't forgotten how much I liked Lorelai/Max. They totally rocked. It's too bad we won't be seeing him again. I think they pretty much put the final nail in the coffin that was their relationship.

I agree. They had great chemistry. I loved their relationship in the first season... but there was always the hope of L/L (or L/C, if you will), standing in the way.

I liked when they brought Max back because you felt like they didn't really get any closure. It was pretty much Lorelai just running off and calling the wedding off. At least, when he came back, they finally got to set things straight between them.

I'm glad that this thread is getting some much deserved attention
Concerning TPTB bringing Max back in Season 3, I really wish they hadn't. I agree that Lorelai and Max needed closure, but the show was a real mess in Season 3 and I would have preferred to have had their relationship kept in the past (when GG was a quality show). |

I think GG has always been a quality show... but besides that, I liked in S3 Episode 5 where Rory and Max have a little talk, giving us a little more closure... and I think Lorelai and him meeting again was nice to see.

You meant the Rory/Max talk in Season 2, right? I also love that scene. It's actually my favorite part of the episode ("Nick & Nora/Sid & Nancy").

Definitely. I love that episode entirely
 . But yes, they're definitely cute together. Another scene of theirs that I think was really cute was when Lorelai was up late at night listening to the phone message he left for her... playing it over and over again. I just think it's so adorable!  __________________

I loved the snow episode. For her it must've been the best snow ever.

awww Lorelai and Max
They were great and he was probably one of the nicest guys ever. He loved her so much and it makes me cry everytime when she says "I wish i loved him, you have no idea how much" because you know she did love him. When they were broken up she was miserable and they were just adorable.  __________________
