I watched the episode where Chris made his first appearance and I have to say, I was really surprised by how much chemistry he had with Lorelei.

I used to focus on Rory's ships, but watching this again after all these years has really opened my eyes. It's also kind of depressed me, because now I'm seeing it from Lorelei's perspective and I have to be honest, the fact that her feelings for Chris never went away and vice versa just made me think that she really did settle for Luke.
