Your Favorite Couple And Why You Ship Them

Only pick one couple

As many know by now, my favorite couple is Bill/Sookie

It's just this really beautiful love story. They would do anything for each other. He walked out in the sun to try and save her from getting killed and walking out in the sun, as you know, is dangerous for a vampire, hehe. She has saved him too once. I love that because she's no damsel in distress. She can fight back if it's needed. She's telepathic so she can read minds, but not his and that's one of the reasons she started to like him because with him it's peaceful and she feels normal around him and she can be herself. And I guess with her, he feels more human because she doesn't treat him as a vampire.

It also doesn't hurt that Stephen and Anna has amazing amazing chemistry

Now it's your turn, people

Okay, so when it comes to couples, I'm a major shipper whore, I'll admit it, lol. What can I say, I'm a sucker for romance. And over the years, I've had tons of favorites quite a few top favorites - however they all fail in comparison to my official #1 now.

John Paul/Craig from Hollyoaks officially own my heart, soul, and everything else - they've come out of nowhere for me and have surpassed any and every other couple I've ever shipped and probably will ship in the future. I can't even begin to explain just what is so friggin' amazing about them - everything! I can't narrow it down to just one thing or even a few things. Bryan just did the most amazing job ever creating this story. It truly was the greatest story ever told, not just love story, but story in general. James and Guy also had the most genuine chemistry I've ever seen between any two people; it's seriously insane just how much these two conveyed on-screen! McDean has to be the most realistic love story I've ever seen, and not just gay love story, but again, love story, in general. The feelings are the same no matter what you are, and they captured the true essence of uncondtional love. They have truly ruined me for any and every other kind of love story and obsession - they're tops! I just beyond adore them - at this point, there's honestly no way I could not ship them. And I could seriously go on and on...so I'll just leave it at that.

Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl)

Mm, where to begin? Chuck Bass; ultimate womaniser who was used to getting his way with women, always took without asking. Of course, one girl was off limits, i.e Blair Waldorf because she was his best friend’s girlfriend. And while Chuck may be a total heinous loser he does love his best friend. And who was he to interrupt true love anyway? Nate and Blair were ‘the perfect couple’ Everyone knew that they’d one day end up together. Regardless Blair and Chuck still have this awesome friendship where she admits that he knows her well and she calls him when she needs help scheming and Chuck does his best to “play even a small role” in her deflowering. But Blair Waldorf is the epitome of all things prim and proper and she would never admit that she enjoyed spending time with the Upper East Side’s resident playboy. That is till she finds out that her perfect boyfriend is not-so-perfect anymore. Not only did he cheat on her with her best friend but apparently, he doesn’t love her anymore either. Blair Waldorf’s fairytale dream begins to fade and funnily the only person there for her is Chuck Bass. 1x07 is one of my favourite episodes because around Chuck, Blair is uninhibited and free with her emotions. There is no stress to be 100% perfect all the time. UGH, I’m beginning to re-tell the Chuck and Blair s/l instead of stating why exactly I adore them (stopping. now)

a) I adore them because they represent unconditional acceptance. Chuck loves every inch of Blair, not in spite of the fact that she can be an anal-OCD-bitch at times but BECAUSE of it. He is intrigued by and loves the fact that she can maintain a cool exterior and put up a front to society while he gets to remain one of the few people who knows how fiery and passionate she can be. And the same applies to Blair. She loves Chuck for exactly who he is. No ‘bad-boy-redemption’ necessary. I feel teen shows today are filled with so many clichéd stories of the ‘bad boy’ who becomes a better person for the ‘good girl’ or ‘the bitch’ who has her preconceived notions turned upside down by the ‘good guy’ Why cant two deliciously evil people (who are ultimately loyal and loving to those they care about?) find happiness with each other? The darkest thought Chuck has ever had and the worst thing he’s ever done, she will stand by him through it. She loves him not only during their fluffy-happy moments but also during the lowest lows. They both symbolise total and complete acceptance to me and I love that.

b) I love that Chuck is not part of Blair’s grand plan. He was always supposed to be the jester, the villain in the corner, the best man at her wedding. He was never ever supposed to be someone she’d fall in love with. And I love the push-pull relationship that resulted from this. Blair tried so hard to resist falling for Chuck and at the same time, Chuck was disgusted at himself for having feelings for ANYONE in the first place.

c) UHM, chemistry. Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester have oodles of it. They have the natural kind which makes all their scenes feel very organic but they also have the insanely overtly sexual kind. It is delicious to watch, IMO

d) Growth! Blair Waldorf had proved that Chuck Bass does indeed have a heart while he in turn has proved that she cannot always control the way the world is spinning

e) Their friendship! When a lot of critics discuss C/B it’s usally in reference to their love/hate relationship but I also adore the moments of friendship we’ve seen! Her opinion matters to him, she calls him for help, Nate has always known that they were close, etc

f) They are over-dramatic-tragic. LOL, seriously. Were there ever two bigger drama queens? It’s why I adore them both. In 1x10, Chuck attempts to stop Nate and Blair from reuniting but instead succeeds in getting them back together! And now, as of late Chuck believes Blair “deserves better” and I’m sure he’ll attempt to push her away so that she doesn’t get hurt by him. Chuck is stuck in a mire of self-loathing and he believes he destroys everything he loves. But because Chuck has never been in a relationship before, he has a very naive view of love. And what is even more tragic is that in his attempts to push her away so that he wont hurt her, he’ll probably end up hurting her even more. AH.

Wow, I’m going to stop now because I really did not intend to write an entire essay but they are so compelling – I couldn’t help it! I could go on and on but I guess I should probably stop In conclusion I do hope these two eventually get together and continue to do wonderful, evil things. Their dynamic itself is awesome and I'm so glad that it's recognised.

House and Cuddy (House)

I am not a person that feels the need to ship. In fact, I prefer not to. For me shipping is pretty much like love – you can’t choose who, what or when you love, it just happens naturally. With my favorite ship it was no exception. I watch House since it’s very first day and House and Cuddy captivated me right from the start. Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein are amazing actors with sizzling chemistry – on and offscreen. However, it wasn’t until late season 2 that I finally admitted to myself that I was, in fact, a “Huddy” shipper.

They both have a very unique relationship. Cuddy knows House longer – and possibly better than any other character on the show. They have a history together that no one other than the two seem aware of, not even Wilson – House’s best friend. They care deeply about one another. They protect each other. They respect each other. They truly do love each other in their own screwed up way. At the same time, they seem incapable of having a relationship with anyone – which makes them perfect for each other – but not really.

I don’t expect a full blown relationship – not with these two. I don’t expect a happily ever after (does anybody really believe we will ever get to see this on House?). I don’t expect a marriage, kids and a white picket fence. I’ve never been a fan of those in-your-face romances. I am not fond of the black/white thing. Grey is what drowns me to people, to relationships, to the world. It is like watching a movie – who likes it when everything is spelled out to you and you’re left with nothing to process? I certainly don’t.

It is the journey that interests me, the thrill, the 12 year old banter, the sexual tension, the feelings they won’t admit, the history, the little gestures. That is what makes this very dysfunctional and yet unique relationship interesting and appealing to me. And to quote Katie Jacobs (executive producer): “I think it’s probably more real than any other love relationship on TV”

I love the post already made about CB! But I gotta say, just watch this video, and you can see how amazing & epic & beautiful they are. It pretty much sums up their awesomeness in like just over 3 minutes (with gorgeous editing!).

Hello, I have never posted on a fan forum (so I am not sure if I am replying correctly) and your message is way old but you said everything that is in my head and I was wondering if you still feel the same way or do you have a new number 1 couple?
