 I am so in love with this title and Leighton's quote  It's so great how in the last 2 or 3 days we got so many amazing quotes - just Penn and Leighton's interviews could probably keep us going title-wise for quite a few threads   Don't rain on my DAIR parade. __________________

 Sorry, I just read through the other pages in the last thread and realised that some posters wanted Penn's quote as the next title instead.  I'll leave it up to you guys, I can always change it to:Dan, at the end of season 4, was realizing that he was in love with Blair. I'm fine with having this title for this thread and Penn's quote for the next one - honestly both quotes are amazing and we'll be using them both anyways so either way around is fine by me

I love those GIFs SFM. The second one speaks so much truth, for real. I always lurk on a general LJ community and I'm just amazed how many people there, not to mention here (myself included), that started watching GG again purely because of the magic that is the DB relationship. I think there's just something so endearing and relatable about them that people react as such to them. __________________

It was definitely the case with me at least. I started losing interest in the show in late season 2 and the beginning of season 3, but still watched out of habit. I stopped watching mid-season 3, but I did watch the hotel business only because I didn't believe my friends when they told me the writers had done that to chuck and blair (at the time I was still a sorta cb fan out of habit, because I'd loved them in late season 1 and beginnign of 2). I had always shipped DB in an AU way. I didn't want them at all in the show because I didn't think the writers could pull it off and would just make them a cheap OMFG moment - but I still shipped them because of amazing fanfics I'd read. Once I heard they were having scenes I started watching again and now gg seems to be one of my biggest obsessions because of dair. They are so flawless and amazing so I can't help, but be obsessed with them!! BTW - Yeah I never meant to write such a long post on this  DB get me inspired I guess __________________

TFTNT! I adore this title
As much as I loved Penn saying Dan was in love with Blair, the implications of Leighton's quote are much better, imo. She can be her real self around him. That speaks volumes to me, not only because it comes from Leighton who's such a CB fan, but mainly because it shows just how well Dan gets Blair, just how comfortable she is with him to let all the walls she built around her heart come down. |
