The Han/Leia Appreciation Thread  Princess Leia: [to Han] I knew there was more to you than money! Princess Leia: Looks like you've managed to cut off our only escape route. Han Solo: [sarcastically] Maybe you'd like it back in your cell, your highness. Princess Leia: Why, you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herder. Han Solo: Who's scruffy-looking? Han Solo: Afraid I was gonna leave without giving you a goodbye kiss? Princess Leia: I'd just as soon kiss a Wookiee. Han Solo: I can arrange that. You could use a good kiss. Princess Leia: [to Han] Well, I guess you don't know everything about women yet. Princess Leia: You have your moments. Not many of them, but you do have them. Han Solo: [baiting him] Still, she's got a lot of spirit. I don't know, whaddya think? You think a princess and a guy like me... Luke: [quickly] No. Princess Leia: [to Han Solo] You don't have to do this to impress me. Han Solo: Hey, Your Worship, I'm only trying to help. Princess Leia: Would you please stop calling me that? Han Solo: Sure, Leia. Princess Leia: You make it so difficult sometimes. Han Solo: I do, I really do. You could be a little nicer, though. Come on, admit it. Sometimes you think I'm all right. Princess Leia: Occasionally, maybe... when you aren't acting like a scoundrel. Han Solo: Scoundrel? Scoundrel? I like the sound of that. Han Solo: You like me because I'm a scoundrel. There aren't enough scoundrels in your life. Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men. Han Solo: I'm a nice man. Princess Leia: No, you're not. You're... [they kiss] Princess Leia: I love you. Yay! Another fan! I actually have to admit that when I saw the first movie a couple years back I liked the idea of Luke/Leia, but of course that wouldn't work because I found out they were siblings later on in the series.. Han/Leia was a neat surprise for me.

I actually saw the potential of both Han/Leia and Luke/Leia pairings in the first movie, but the second movie sold Han/Leia to me and they resolved the storyline in the third movie in a great way by making Luke & Leia brother and sister.
So, yay Han/Leia!  Add me if you're making a shipper list.  __________________

I love all their moments really, but I can't forget my excitement at that first kiss in movie V. I also love it when Han confronts Leia on the bridge in the last movie about being able to talk to Luke and not him and Leia just throws her arms around him and buries her head in his chest. So cute |

Has anyone seen this before?
The now classic exchange of the lines: "-I love you. -I know..." have a pretty funny way of coming into being. It is rumored that Carrie Fisher, during the time of filming ESB, experienced the downside of substance abuse. She would often miss, or forget, her lines. So after numerous re-takes of this heartbreaking scene, Harrison Ford got tired of the whole thing and said "I know" in response to Carrie's line, as a sarcastic remark.
