With Jate there were always so many different layers in their emotional scenes. They were never superficial.

this is what I loved about them. They were complicated, and in every scene there was so much unsaid but with their voice or their looks, you could tell what they were going through

Only Desmond and Penny were anywhere near as complex, but it's to be expected as they were the only other couple whose story was essential to the plot.

the same EL that was talking about Sawyer and Kate's abiding friendship and that it's canon because Greg collaborated with the writer who also said that Darlton checked the whole thing before publishing it?

Yes, that LE. The "fan-written" one that couldn't possibly be canon, just like Jate was over and wasn't getting another chance.

Always entertaining to see history being re-written too, isn't it?

I think we should write a book about this re-written history

Perhaps Evi could write a book about how she never understood any of the Jate-related scripts

Or maybe it could be called "I Don't: How NOT to write a show"

The same way our characters were sort of locked in cages in season 3, is when the show went awry.
You have to love Carlton, don't you?
